Tito & Tita, Gym Lumbera and an imagined past
A screening of works by filmmaker Gym Lumbera and collective, Tito & Tita. Often working with formats such as Super 8 and 16mm their films interrogate the possibilities of photographic media and its various histories. A Q&A with Gym Lumbera and Dr May Adadol Ingawanji (moving image theorist, historian, curator and Co-Director of CREAM) follows the screening. An evening with visual artist Hetain Patel, exploring the meeting place between art, cinema and action figures. In between screening his film works, Hetain will be chatting to experts from the film and toy industries. Further information and tickets will be released in August '19.
